PET FINDER LISTINGS OF OUR CHINESE CRESTED DOGS AVAILABLE

Eli

**Eli is not a Crested Guardians foster dog,
this is a COURTESY LISTING ONLY.**

Eli is a 3 year old HHL light gray Chinese Crested male.

Eli would do well in a home with another small dog, and parents who could give
him lots of love & attention. A home with small non-aggressive dogs would be
perfect for him. He is energetic & loves to play. He doesn't show any signs of
aggression when others approach his toys or food. He is a good natured, happy
little boy. He is not fearful of older respectful children, but toddlers would
not be recommended.  He is a real cuddler and will melt right into you while
being petted.

He weighs 11 lbs and is 14" tall. Eli is housebroken, but he would require a
belly band & be supervised for a few days in a new environment. He is leash
trained and loves to go for walks. He is crate trained, UTD on all shots,
heartworm negative & neutered. Eli does know his name and will come when called, but
he will require a fenced area or be on a leash when outside.

Please contact Eli's foster mom at wickedsisters@charter.net.  Eli is being fostered in
SC.

Betty

Hi, my name is Betty and I just got to my foster mom's home.  I'm a 2 year old True Hairless girl.
My foster mom said I'm UTD and altered - I think that's good?  And I'm a perfect 13 lbs, just right!

I'm still learning the routine here, there are lots of friends for me to play with.  I wasn't even scared to meet everyone!  I have a beautiful smile, a little bit of an under bite, but that's what makes it beautiful.  One of my foster brothers has the same smile!  I think it was love at first sight.

I go outside with everyone when it's time to do "the business".  I'm not shy and love everyone I meet. My foster mom said she'll update this once she gets to know me a little more, but she said I'm very sweet. She keeps trying to take pictures of me to show my true beauty, but I'm just too busy right now, she'll have to wait

Mitzi

Mitzi is a 3yr old dark gray & white HHL female with lots of spots. She is a
sweet loving girl who loves to cuddle. She gets along well with other small
dogs. She has a quiet calm attitude but can be very playful with her foster
parents when encouraged.  Mitzi loves treats and is a very smart girl. She  has
already learned to sit for her favorite treats. She is crate trained, UTD on
shots, spayed, and housebroken. She will even ask to go out. Mitzi bonds very
quickly with her care giver.

Please contact Mitzi's foster mom at wickedsisters@charter.net.
Mitzi is being fostered in SC.

Phoenix

**Phoenix would do best in a home with no children.**

Phoenix is a shy 2 yr old HL female. She is very energetic and playful with
other dogs. She loves the company of people, but is very shy. After she warms
up, she is a happy little clown. She loves stuffed toys, and does good on a
leash. She is crate trained, UTD on shots & spayed. She is housebroken if kept
on a strict potty schedule. Phoenix needs to have a set routine. She likes to
sleep in the same place, potty in the same place, eat at the same time, etc...
Consistency seems to give her more security and confidence.

Please contact Phoenix's foster mom at wickedsisters@charter.net.

Boomer - Powderpuff Chinese Crested

Boomer is a 2 year old white Powder Puff Chinese Crested with just a few strands of black running through his super soft, thick, fluffy coat. He appears larger than his 16 pounds because of his luxurious coat. He has been getting along well with all of the other small dogs in his foster home and enjoys playtime with them.  He especially loves lap time and cuddles. His body just melts on your lap as he looks at you with those big brown eyes. He would do best in an adult home, as although he is not at all aggressive, his foster mom has learned that he does not like hands near his face in the process of grooming, so small inexperienced hands would probably not be welcomed either.

Boomer appears to be housetrained with only a few accidents in the first few days at his foster home. He is healthy neutered boy and up to date on all his vaccinations.

Boomer is being fostered in Maine. His foster mom can be reached at sbic@roadrunner.com

Boomer and Zoe came into rescue together and are very bonded.  While both can be adopted separately, is there someone with a big enough heart to adopt them both together?

If you are interested in Boomer please fill out an application!

Zoe - Powderpuff Chinese Crested

Weighing 14 pounds, Zoe is a super sweet, somewhat shy 2-year-old white Powder Puff Chinese crested with shades of apricot in her coat. She loves the attention of her human. She is never pushy, but always willing to be picked up and given some love. She is rather shy around the other dogs, but not fearful of them. She would do best in quiet home where she would be able to find a lap to call her own.  A gentler soul you will never meet.

Zoe shows great promise with her housetraining. She has had a few accidents in her foster home, but is already learning the routine well. Her coat is fluffy and fine, so she will need regular brushing to keep her beautiful coat in great shape. As is common with white dogs, she gets tearstains under her eyes. It’s only cosmetic, she is a gorgeous girl just the same. Zoe is spayed and up to date on vaccinations and in very good health.

Zoe is being fostered in Maine. Her foster mom can be reached at sbic@roadrunner.com

Lulu

Hi everybody!  My name is Lulu.  Well it is actually Luanne but everybody calls me Lulu, which I prefer.   My foster Mommy just calls me her little "wiggle butt" because when I am happy I wag my tail so hard that my little tusch wiggles.  I am a very happy little girl and I know that I am part Chinese Crested (because, well you see, I am partially naked) but I think I might also be part Corgi.  I love to run really fast but I get tired quickly because I have such short little legs.  I am looking for a forever home where I am the only dog as I MUST be the focus of all the love and attention and don't do well when I have to compete or share anything.  I currently sleep in a crate and do very well in it, but I would prefer to sleep with my favorite human so that I can cuddle and snuggle all night.  I am housebroken as long as someone puts me on a regular schedule for going out.  I enjoy chasing toys but haven't quite got the part about bringing them back so that you can throw them again.
Maybe you could help to teach me that part of the game?  I have been doing well with meeting people but can be a little timid and need time to warm up.  I am not so sure that I like kats - my foster Mommy has two and I think they are really alien beings who are up to no good!  I bark at them but then they chase me and then, well, sssshhhhhh don't tell anybody, but I have to confess that I run from them.  Okay so I am not so big and brave when it comes to KATS!

If you are interested in being my forever family, please contact my foster Mommy at ckrusey@comcast.net.

If interested, please fill out an application!

Hobbs

Hobbs is a 9 month old Powder Puff Chinese Crested. He's about 10 lbs, altered and UTD. Hobbs is my shadow, follows me everywhere. I've not seen any aggression or fear in the little guy. He loves to cuddle, melts right into me. He sleeps thru the night in his crate with no accidents and house training is going well. He's on a strict schedule and catching on quickly.

We're working on his manners, walks well on a leash and harness, loves to play with squeaky toys and balls. He does well with my 3 cresteds, respects their warnings. Hobbs has a very sweet, soft personality. Not sure about cats, big dogs or children.

Hobbs's foster mom can be reached for further info at Stollsilver@aol.com.

If you are interested in Hobbs, please fill out an application!

Zack

Zack, a 3 year old hairy hairless chinese crested, is a confident, mellow and loving little man. He loves to sit in your lap and give kisses, if that’s OK with you. If not, he will somewhat begrudgingly forgo the kisses for cuddling.  He’s been known to give a little chin nibble, but it is not from aggression at all. He has been OK with the other small dogs he has met in his foster home, though he is not overly rambunctious or playful with them. Despite his laid back nature, he has proven to be able to jump over his 4 ft X-Pen, so a high fence is a must outside or to keep him contained inside. His intention for jumping the fence is not to escape his people, but rather to get to them or a more comfortable place, if he can. He enjoys female dogs most. He may warn male dogs with a quick warning growl or bark if he feels they are too close to his personal space or taking over the attention of his person. Zack is nearly house-trained and should do well on a good schedule. If you’d like
a faithful little friend who appreciates belly rubs and lap time, Zack will be happy to oblige! He is currently ready for adoption. Zack’s foster mom can be contacted at sbic@roadrunner.com

Zeke

Zeke is 1.5 years old and still enjoying late puppyhood. He is building his confidence, as he probably wasn’t loved and handled quite enough before coming into rescue, but he still enjoys being held and the human touch. Zeke also has the most unique little voice! It seems that if he tried hard enough, he could probably say a few words at times! He loves to play and shows interest in the little toys around his foster home and especially the other fosters. Zeke would not be very happy as an only dog. He needs an active little dog who wants to play as much as he does. His disposition is very sweet, no aggressive tendencies at all. He needs help with housetraining, but with the patience required & consistency, he will figure out what his human wants of him. Zeke is now ready for adoption. His foster mom can be contacted at sbic@roadrunner.com
